Test Font End User License Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using the test font files provided by Local Type Co. (the “Test Font Software”), you agree to the terms of this End User License Agreement (“Agreement”).

1. License Grant
Local Type Co. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Test Font Software solely for evaluation and testing purposes.

No commercial usage rights are granted under this license.

2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Test Font Software to evaluate the typeface and test its suitability for potential projects.

You may use the Test Font Software in internal layouts, mockups, design explorations, presentations, and other non-public materials created solely for evaluation purposes.

3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Test Font Software in any final, published, distributed, publicly accessible, or commercial work.

This includes, but is not limited to, logos and visual identities, advertising, packaging, social media content, websites, applications, merchandise, video, motion graphics, signage, and other publicly released materials.

You may not use the Test Font Software in work delivered to a client as final artwork.

4. Client Presentations
You may use the Test Font Software in non-public presentations or proposals shown to clients solely for the purpose of evaluating or selecting the typeface.

If the typeface is selected for a project, the appropriate commercial license must be purchased before the Font Software is used in final or published work.

5. Font Files
You may not sell, sublicense, distribute, share, rent, lend, give away, or otherwise make the Test Font Software available to another person or entity.

You may make reasonable backup copies solely for your own archival purposes.

6. Modifications
You may not modify, reverse engineer, rename, convert, adapt, or create derivative font software from the Test Font Software.

You may convert text to outlines or rasterized graphics solely for permitted evaluation and testing purposes.

7. Embedding
The Test Font Software may not be embedded in websites, applications, software, games, digital products, templates, or other products or services.

8. Ownership
The Test Font Software and the designs embodied in it remain the intellectual property of Local Type Co.

This license grants limited evaluation rights only and does not transfer ownership of the Test Font Software or its intellectual property rights.

9. Termination
This license remains valid unless you breach its terms.

If this Agreement is terminated because of a breach, you must stop using the Test Font Software and delete all copies in your possession or control.

10. Other Uses
Any use beyond evaluation and testing requires the appropriate commercial license from Local Type Co.
